I started trading in 2017 with a small capital of Rs. 25000 - my first internship stipend. That was every rupee I had. My curiosity about markets had been building since school, and truly got ignited during my commerce undergrad at Shri Ram College of Commerce. Later, during Law School, I came to understand something important: knowledge alone is never enough. It only becomes powerful when tested in the real world, with real money on the line. 

When I finally had the capital to start trading, I had no clear guidance and no genuine mentorship. So I did what most self-taught traders do — I started reading everything I could about the world's greatest traders, their journeys, their strategies, their rules. And then I began carving my own path. The mistakes were expensive. Not just financially — but in time, confidence, and sleepless nights second-guessing every decision. But I kept going, and I kept learning. Every loss had a lesson buried inside it. I survived from the risk of wiping my entire capital, as I never entered the arena of F&O (Derivatives) or Commodities with high leverage. 

Seven years later, I now trade with a self-designed strategy and a clear set of rules that I follow without emotion. I trade like an institution — but with far greater flexibility and speed — real sword of an individual trader.

Along the way, I noticed something that troubled me. Most traders around me were struggling — not because they lacked intelligence or drive, but because nobody had ever taught them the rules and discipline that institutional traders follow as second nature. Something that stays common among world renowned Traders. The right guidance could have shortened their learning curve by years. Because in the stock market, time is money.

That realization became Trader Hikes.
